COVID-19 measures

.Disinfecting all surfaces, crockery, utensils, appliances and bins, before and after visits.
.Regularly ventilate rooms.
.Hand sanitisers in the kitchen and all en-suites.

If you or any of your group display any Covid symptoms, we ask that you don't travel to us. We can either refund your payment, or move your booking to another date.
Payments & Cancellations
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer or Cheque . We ask that the full amount is paid within 2 days, to secure the booking (cheques within 5 days).

In the event of cancellation on the part of the client, more than 14 days before the original arrival date, a full refund of amounts will be made. If a cancellation occurs, within 14 days of the original arrival date, we will offer a 50% refund to the client.
In the event that the owners are forced by unforeseen circumstances to cancel a reservation, all monies will be refunded in full.
Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons as stated on the website, occupy the Hayloft.
Arrival and Departure
We will welcome guests after 3pm. We kindly ask guests to vacate the Hayloft by 10.00am.
Responsibility
Guests are asked to leave the Hayloft, its fixtures and furniture in the same good condition as they were found. All accommodation and utensils must be left clean and tidy at the end of the rental period. All damages or breakages are the responsibility of the guest and must be reported immediately so that a cost can be obtained for replacements.
The Devon Shippon is a non-smoking site.
Young children should be supervised at all times.
If you fail to observe our terms and conditions we have the right to terminate your booking, even if you are at the property, by asking you to leave at once, without any compensation becoming payable to you. We reserve the right to enter the property at any time should the need arise.
There maybe times when we will need access to the property during your stay for essential maintenance.
Electricity and Heating
Electricity, heating and WiFi are included in the rental price.
Insurance
Guests may choose to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party’s personal belongings, public liability, accidents, and damage etc.
We cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
You must be responsible for you and your family’s safety whilst on holiday.
Accessibility
Ample parking is provided outside the Hayloft. Access is up a steep flight of steps, with a handrail on both sides. There is an additional step into the Hayloft, itself. Due to the nature of the building, we regret that there is no wheelchair access beyond the outside steps.
Inside, the lounge, kitchen and double bedroom are all on the same level. The twin bedroom has a clearly marked step, in the doorway.
The wildlife field is uneven, but the paths are kept clear and generally flat.

Pets
Due to the nature of the Hayloft, the wildlife field and livestock in the adjoining fields, we regret that we cannot accommodate pets.
